 Dear Tenants:

The Coronavirus officially known as COVID-19 has created a variety of serious and stressful issues for individuals and their families in our community.  And the start of a new month brings an added level of stress for many people with rent and mortgage obligations.

The United Way of Summit and Stark County have been a tremendous community resource over the past few weeks, and calling 211 or texting your zip code the 898-211 is a simple way to reach private, confidential counseling for any area of concern that you have.

In addition to rent/mortgage payments, food is also a concern for many families with children home unexpectedly. Anyone who needs food should contact The Akron Canton Regional Food Bank at 855-560-0850 or visit their interactive online map which lists food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters, and other hunger-relief programs.

You can also visit the EANDC COVID-19 resource page for a list of resources available by county. This page of information will be updated as frequently as possible.

We will get through this together. Stay healthy.

Cheryl L. Stephens
